Maternal line research

What is a maternal line?

A maternal series is the female counterpart of the ancestral series. We work in a straight female line back in time: from someone's mother, to her mother and so on, until we can go no further. The oldest known ancestor is the progenitor.
Primary data such as: birth-, marriage-, and death dates as well as the details of the partner of the female ancestor(s) are also listed in the maternal series.

Maternal line pricing

Transparency is very important to me in the services I offer. For this reason, I have chosen not to charge an hourly rate. The prices to be charged for the various services depend on the following:

  • Type of the research (do you opt for a summary form or the more extensive form?)
  • The research findings (how far back in time do we go?)
  • Any additional costs (does your research require physical visits to an archive?)
